Métushalème (Métu) est une artiste multidisciplinaire née à Montréal et d’origine haïtienne. Elle se forme en interprétation à Toronto et New York, et complète un stage à Williamstown, MA. Au théâtre, on la retrouve dans Kilimandjaro (Théâtre La Marjolaine), et en anglais, dans une adaptation musicale de Des Fraises en Janvier (Théâtre Centaur). Au cinéma, on la voit dans le long métrage Farador, et à la télévision dans les séries Aller Simple, Alertes et Indéfendable. Elle écrit également, et développe actuellement un projet personnel où s’entrelacent récit, rythme, voix et mouvement.
Métushalème (Métu) is a Montréal-born multidisciplinary artist of Haitian descent. She trained in Toronto and New York, and completed an apprenticeship in Williamstown, MA. Her recent stage credits include Kilimandjaro (Théâtre La Marjolaine) and the English-language musical adaptation of Strawberries in January (Centaur Theatre). On screen, she appears in the feature Farador (Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma 2023), and the series Aller Simple, Alertes, and Indéfendable. She is currently developing new work as a writer for both stage and music-based performance.
